We’re celebrating the two-month anniversary of 1/125 with two announcements: a real big-boy domain, and a print giveaway!

You can now find us at one125.net. This might be a good time to update your bookmarks and your feed readers, and any tattoos you may have gotten in our honor.

To celebrate our survival of those critical first few weeks of life — during which most young blogs are picked off by savage predators — we are giving away some prints.

What prints, you ask? Well, some of ours. If you’ve only been following us here at 1/125, you probably haven’t seen any of our stuff before, but we’ve done our best to pick some quality (and fairly crowd-pleasing) work that might be of interest to folks who like the photographers we highlight here.

Our tentative selection of six photographs is above. We may make some substitutions before we announce the winners — in which case, we’ll let you know. And don’t worry, we won’t be sending the winners glamor shots of kittens. Even if you’re into that.

Print sizes will be in the vicinity of 8x10-8x12 (the latter being about 20x30cm), and we’ll send them anywhere our respective postal systems will allow us to.

Here’s how it works:

1. You should follow us on tumblr, sign up for a commenter account with Disqus (the service we use for commenting), or become a fan on Facebook. Or all of the above.
2. Realize that Step #1 is a crass attempt on our part to garner new followers. Yes, we’re terrible, terrible people.
3. Once you’re a follower on Tumblr or a fan on Facebook, consider yourselves entered. (That includes anyone who’s already following us, of course.)
4. Disqus users: leave a comment on this thread here, and then consider yourselves entered as well.
5. We will choose, at random, two tumblr followers, two commenters, and two facebook fans, to each receive one print. In this manner, you can enter up to three times — but you can only win one print. (If we draw the same reader twice, we’ll draw again to get four unique winners.)
6. In a couple weeks or so, we’ll announce the winners!

We may be doing some other giveaways and other organized-distributions-of-stuff in weeks to come, so stay tuned even if you don’t win one of these prints.
